Pastor Hurst is a West Philadelphia native and currently resides in Yeadon, PA. The Lord has blessed him to celebrate 29 years of marriage to the love of his life, Barbara. They are the parents of two children; Lois Jackson (Philip) and Anthony W. Hurst, II. They were recently thrilled at the birth of their first grandchild, Taylor Monaye Jackson. Pastor Hurst graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Music Education. He received his Master of Divinity from Biblical Theological Seminary, where he is currently a candidate for Doctor of Ministry. Pastor Hurst has served for nearly 30 years in the music ministry, 17 years as an associate pastor and 3 years as a senior pastor. His greatest desire is to one day hear the Savior say “Well done, good and faithful servant.” In light of that he seeks to focus his attention on bringing others to salvation through Christ and helping them to grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord. One of his favorite passages is found in Titus 2:11-14
